Insurance Coverage by Contractor:

Reliable Tree Service carries general liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage and maintains Workers’ Compensation coverage for all employees as required by law. Proof of insurance certificates can be provided upon request.

Scheduling / Cancellation Policy:

Reliable Tree Service requests at least 24 hours’ notice for any scheduled job that needs to be canceled or reduced. If a crew is already en route or on-site and the job is canceled, a $150 mobilization fee may be applied to cover time and expenses incurred.

Project Timeline / Completion:

Reliable Tree Service will make every reasonable effort to complete work within the agreed timeframe. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by weather, staffing issues, equipment failure, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Property Ownership Authorization:

The customer confirms that all trees or work areas listed belong to them or that they have proper authorization from the property owner to approve the work. If any ownership dispute arises, the customer agrees to hold Reliable Tree Service harmless for any related costs or claims.

Safety Standards:

Reliable Tree Service performs all tree care operations in accordance with the most current ANSI Z133 safety standards. Customers and unauthorized individuals must remain clear of active work zones unless directed otherwise by the crew supervisor.

Stump Grinding / Removal:

Stump removal, when included, is performed using professional grinding equipment typically to a depth of approximately 4–6 inches below grade unless otherwise specified. Grinding services are optional unless stated in the agreement. Debris from grinding will be leveled out, and full excavation and backfill with soil may be available for an additional charge.

Tree Condition AND Risk Disclosure:

Reliable Tree Service will notify customers of any visible health or structural concerns observed during work. However, not all defects or risks can be detected during inspection. Final assessments are based on visual evaluation only, and the company is not responsible for future decline, failure, or resulting damage after services are completed.

Cleanup of Debris:

Work areas will be left in a reasonably clean condition at the end of each workday unless otherwise arranged. This includes raking lawn areas, sweeping sidewalks and driveways when applicable, and removing brush, limbs, and logs from the site.

Wildlife and Insect Activity:

Trees may contain or host insects or wildlife such as bees or other animals. If unexpected conditions create a safety issue, additional time required to manage the situation may be billed to the customer.

Hidden or Unforeseen Conditions:

If unknown conditions are discovered during work—such as buried materials, structural irregularities, or underground obstacles—additional work may be billed on a time-and-material basis. Reliable Tree Service is not liable for damage to unmarked underground utilities, irrigation, drainage systems, or similar features unless they were accurately identified and disclosed prior to work.

Driveways and Hard Surfaces:

Care will be taken to reduce impact on driveways, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces. However, damage may occur if underlying voids or weak areas exist. Reliable Tree Service is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing structural weaknesses. Any damage directly caused by falling materials from work operations will be addressed and repaired appropriately.

Lawn and Landscape Impact:

Efforts will be made to minimize disruption to turf and landscaped areas. Some minor impact such as ground impressions or temporary turf disturbance may occur, especially during removals or wet conditions. Additional protective measures can be requested in advance and may involve added costs. Any significant damage caused by equipment will be repaired as appropriate.

Payment Terms:

Unless otherwise specified, payment is due in full within 15 days after work completion. Balances unpaid after 30 days may incur a finance charge of 2% per month (up to an annual maximum of 18.99%). Payment arrangements may be discussed for qualifying situations.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Reliable Tree Service accepts checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.

Support Systems (Cabling / Bracing):

Support systems are installed according to standard industry practices to improve structural stability where applicable. No guarantee is provided regarding performance or longevity of the system. Liability is limited to the cost of installation.

Support System Maintenance:

If a tree support system is installed, annual ground-level inspections are recommended. More detailed canopy inspections are typically advised every five years if applicable. Inspection services are available for an additional fee, and scheduling is the responsibility of the property owner.
